The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially commenced its Conversion Service, giving eligible candidates the opportunity to align their admission plans with their current academic qualifications. Candidates who initially registered for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) but have now obtained approved Direct Entry (DE) qualifications such as NCE, ND, HND, IJMB, JUPEB, or other accepted certificates can now convert their UTME application to Direct Entry. In addition, Direct Entry candidates can now process a Change of Institution if they wish to apply to a different university, polytechnic, college of education, or other tertiary institution.
Candidates are advised to visit the nearest JAMB office to complete the required procedures with all necessary documents. Before initiating any conversion or institution change, ensure you meet the admission requirements for your preferred course and institution. All modifications should be carried out only through official JAMB channels, and candidates are encouraged to process their requests early to avoid unnecessary delays during the admission exercise.
