This is to notify the general public, particularly candidates seeking admission into the Lagos State University of Science and Technology, Ikorodu in the 2026/2027 Academic Session, of the commencement and guidelines for the Post-UTME online admission screening exercise as follows:
Eligibility for Screening
Only candidates who chose LASUSTECH as their First Choice Institution in the 2026/2027 UTME, obtained a minimum UTME score of 195, and possess the required O’Level subjects at credit level in not more than two (2) sittings are eligible for admission.
All Direct Entry candidates must have obtained a Direct Entry Form from JAMB and chosen LASUSTECH as First Choice. Such candidates are required to apply for the screening.
Only candidates of Lagos State Origin (100 Level and Direct Entry) who have successfully verified their claims before the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC) will be allowed to participate.

Period of the Screening Exercise
The SOVE Registration Exercise will start on Wednesday, 20th May, 2026, and close on Friday, 12th June, 2026. The Verification Interview will run as follows:
Wednesday, 17th June, 2026 to Friday, 19th June, 2026
The interview date for each candidate will be specified on the application form.
Please NOTE that the SOVE does not guarantee or serve as proof of admission into the Lagos State University of Science and Technology.

Every candidate must satisfy the O’Level requirements of their chosen programme before completing the application form.
All candidates must upload their O’Level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
