The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of 632,788 candidates who sat for the first day of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), conducted on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

According to the Board, candidates can access their results via the approved SMS channels by sending UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number (SIM) used during registration. At this stage, candidates are only able to view their scores, as result printing has not yet been enabled.

JAMB emphasized that the phased release of results will continue as the examination progresses nationwide.
