The University of Calabar will graduate 10,820 students at its 38th convocation on Saturday, including 52 first-class graduates.
The total comprises 152 diploma holders, 9,173 first-degree graduates, and 1,495 postgraduates.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Offiong Efanga Offiong said the event is expected to project the university’s vision globally.
Activities lined up include an interdenominational service, research fair, convocation lecture, award ceremonies, and a gala night for PhD graduates.
The convocation lecture will be delivered by Major General Garba Ayodeji Wahab on national security and the role of tertiary institutions.
