The management of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, has directed all students to vacate school hostels immediately after the completion of their examinations, as part of routine arrangements for the end of the academic session.
The directive was contained in an official notice issued by the Office of the Registrar and addressed to all polytechnic students. According to the statement, students are required to leave the hostels with all their personal belongings upon the conclusion of their exams and the commencement of the vacation period.
The institution emphasized that it will not be held liable for any loss or damage to items left behind in the hostels after students have vacated. Consequently, students have been strongly advised to thoroughly inspect their rooms and ensure that all personal effects are removed before departure.
The Polytechnic Authority will not be responsible for any loss or damage of items left behind,” the notice stated, underscoring the need for strict compliance.
Management further urged students to adhere to the directive, describing it as mandatory, while also wishing them a pleasant and restful holiday break.
