JAMB has released the guidelines for the 2026 UTME registration.

Key Steps;

* Make sure your NIN, email, phone number, and personal details are correct before registering.

* Send your 11-digit NIN to 55019 or 66019 to get your profile code (e.g., NIN 12345678901 to 55019/66019).

* Once generated, the profile code cannot be changed.

* Go to any JAMB office or approved CBT centre to register.

* Buy your e-PIN only from approved banks, vendors, or online platforms.

* Confirm all your details before final submission.

* Fix any mistakes on your NIN (name, date of birth, gender, etc.) before registration.

* Your email and phone number must be active and unique—don’t share them.

* If you have biometric issues, visit a JAMB office (not a CBT centre).

* Make sure your passport photo and fingerprints are correctly captured during registration.

* Error 55019/66019: The message format is wrong.

* Number Already Registered: Use the SIM linked to the old profile or get a new number.

* Unable to Verify NIN: Wait and try again.
