UNILORIN DISMISSES RUMOURS OF MBBS ADMISSION SUSPENSION
The University of Ilorin has refuted reports alleging that it will not admit students into its MBBS programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.
According to an official statement released by the Director of Corporate Affairs, Mr. Kunle Akogun, the information circulating is false and misleading. He clarified that the MBBS programme has already been included in the university's advertised programmes for the 2026/2027 admission exercise.
The university further announced that registration for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise is currently ongoing and advised prospective candidates, parents, and the general public to disregard the rumour.
