The Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has introduced a new Programme Suggestion feature on its 2026/2027 undergraduate admission portal. The feature provides prospective candidates with alternative academic programme options based on their screening performance.
The newly added feature automatically evaluates an applicant's screening aggregate score and identifies programmes for which the candidate is eligible. This development is expected to assist applicants whose scores may not meet the requirements for their initially selected courses.
Under the new system, candidates who fall short of the admission benchmark for their preferred programme may be given the opportunity to review and switch to other eligible courses available within the university, where applicable.
Prospective students are therefore advised to log in to their admission portal regularly to monitor updates, check for programme suggestions, and review any alternative options made available to them by the system.
