The management of Kwara State University (KWASU) has officially announced its 2026/2027 undergraduate pre-admission screening exercise, inviting suitably qualified Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) candidates to apply for admission into the institution.
According to information published on the university's admission portal, the online screening registration is scheduled to run from Friday, July 18, 2026, to Sunday, August 17, 2026.
The university stated that the screening exercise is open to:
(A) Candidates who selected KWASU as their first-choice institution during the 2026 UTME registration.
(B) Candidates willing to change their institution to KWASU as first choice through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal before completing the screening registration.
The university further outlined several key requirements:
(A) Candidates must possess at least five relevant O'Level credits obtained in not more than two sittings.
(B) For Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), candidates must present their O'Level results in one sitting only.
(C) Incorrect information supplied during registration may lead to automatic disqualification.
(D) Candidates awaiting results are permitted to apply but must upload their results before the admission process concludes.
