The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) has officially commenced its 2026/2027 University Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (UPASE) for eligible candidates seeking admission into the institution. Applicants are required to verify their personal details, UTME subject combinations, O'Level results, and departmental requirements before proceeding with registration. Candidates who do not meet the requirements for their chosen course may be allowed to switch to a suitable alternative programme.

The screening process attracts a ₦2,000 application fee, while candidates requesting a change of programme are required to pay an additional ₦1,000. After payment, the portal automatically assesses each applicant's eligibility status. Candidates who meet the admission requirements can proceed to upload the necessary supporting documents, while those deemed ineligible must change to an appropriate course before continuing.

Applicants are advised to upload clear and accurate documents, carefully review all information before submission, and regularly monitor their application status on the portal. Application statuses may be marked as Cleared, Rejected, or Disqualified depending on compliance with admission requirements. While a Cleared status indicates that screening requirements have been met, it does not automatically guarantee admission.
