The Federal University of Technology, Ilaro, in accordance with the law establishing it as the successor in title to The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, hereby announces its last and final admission exercise into the National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Full-Time programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
SECTION A: NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) FULL-TIME PROGRAMMES
Eligibility Criteria for Post-UTME Screening
To be eligible for the Post-UTME screening, candidates must meet the following conditions:
Choice of Institution: Candidates must have chosen The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro as their 1st choice and scored not below 150 in the 2026 UTME.
Change of Institution: Candidates who did not initially choose the institution can change their 1st choice to The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro on the JAMB portal to become eligible.
Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 16 years old by August 31, 2026.
Exemptions: Physically challenged candidates and international candidates are automatically exempted from the Post-UTME screening test.

Commencement Date: Registration begins online on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
Closing Date: The deadline for completing the online registration form is Monday, July 27, 2026.
Application Fee: Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only (excluding bank charges).
Step-by-Step Application Procedure
Go to the official institution portal: www.federalpolyilaro.edu.ng.
Click on the “Portal” tab on the main menu.
Select “Applicant” and click on “Generate Invoice”.
Fill in your full name and other details exactly as they appear on your credentials, then select your desired program of study.
Proceed to any of the authorized banks with the generated invoice to pay the application fee. You will receive an RRR Number upon payment.
Return to the portal, click on “Applicant”, and then select “Fill Application Form”.
Enter your RRR number and complete the online application form.

Data Consistency Warning: All names supplied by applicants must correspond exactly with what is on their WAEC/NECO and JAMB documents. Any variation or mismatch in credentials will lead to immediate disqualification.
Screening Modality: The Post-UTME examinations are computer-based. Specific examination dates will be announced at a later period on the institution’s official website and will also be sent via the email addresses provided by candidates during registration.
