The Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) has officially announced that its 2026 examinations will be conducted from August 3 to August 14, 2026, adopting a hybrid examination format.
According to a communication issued by the Board and dated May 5, 2026, the examination structure will combine both computer-based and traditional assessment methods. The Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) component will be administered as a Computer-Based Test (CBT), while the theory and essay sections will be conducted using the Paper and Pencil Test (PPT) format.
This announcement is signaling preparations ahead of the examination period for candidates enrolled in the advanced-level programme.
Candidates are advised to begin adequate preparations in line with the outlined structure, as the examination window spans nearly two weeks and will be conducted across approved centres nationwide.
