Babcock University has officially commenced the sale of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) admission forms for the 2026/2027 Academic Session. This is to inform all candidates who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and are seeking admission into the institution that the application portal is now open.
According to the institution, candidates who selected Babcock University as their first choice during JAMB registration are eligible to apply for the screening exercise. Interested applicants who did not initially choose the university as first choice can also apply, but they are required to change their institution to Babcock University at any accredited JAMB CBT Centre before completing the admission process.
The approved cut-off mark for admission into the university is 170 and above. Candidates seeking admission into any undergraduate programme must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at WAEC, NECO, GCE, or equivalent examinations in not more than two sittings. However, candidates applying for Medicine are required to have their O’Level results in one sitting only.
The university also noted that candidates below the age of 16 are advised not to apply for admission. Admission into all undergraduate programmes is strictly through UTME and JAMB Direct Entry.
Additionally, the institution stated that candidates applying through Inter-University Transfer must provide their JAMB Admission Letter, Academic Transcript, and Attestation Letter from their previous university to facilitate the transfer process with JAMB.
Foreign applicants are equally welcome to apply, provided they meet the university’s general admission requirements as well as JAMB conditions where applicable.
Prospective students are advised to begin their application process early and ensure all necessary documents are properly uploaded to avoid delays during screening and admission consideration.
