The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the 2026 Direct Entry (DE) registration deadline to May 8, 2026, giving candidates more time to complete their applications.

The registration, which began in March, was earlier scheduled to close on April 25, 2026 before the new extension was announced.
