The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has officially activated its online screening portal for candidates newly admitted into full-time undergraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the university management, all newly admitted students are expected to visit the UNILAG student portal to complete their online screening and registration procedures without delay. This marks the formal commencement of the post-admission process for fresh intakes across all faculties.
The online screening exercise involves the verification of essential admission documents, payment of required fees, and scheduling of screening appointments. Admitted students are advised to log in using their JAMB registration number or application number as username, and their surname (in lowercase) as default password before changing it.
Documents required for the screening include the JAMB admission letter, O’Level results, birth certificate, state of origin certificate, testimonial from the last school attended, and a letter of reference from a reputable individual. Candidates must also ensure that all uploaded documents are clear, authentic, and correspond with the details submitted during JAMB registration.
UNILAG management further emphasized that impersonation and falsification of documents remain serious offenses that attract immediate withdrawal of admission once detected. In addition, every newly admitted student is expected to undergo a mandatory medical screening and drug test as part of the clearance process.
Students are therefore advised to complete the entire online screening process promptly and adhere strictly to the registration timeline to avoid forfeiting their admission offer.
For full details, students can log on to the university’s official website via www.unilag.edu.ng and navigate to the student portal for further instructions.
