The Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) has commenced the uploading of 2025/2026 admission list via JAMB CAPS.

Candidates who registered for the POSTUTME screening exercise are advised to check their admission status on the JAMB CAPS.

Candidates admission status will firstly change to Admission In Progress (AIP).Then after AIP the candidate should exercise patient for some days or week(s) for the AIP to change to CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE BEEN OFFERED ADMISSION.

To accept or reject the admission through SMS by sending ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 with the specific SIM used for jamb registration.After accepting the admission offer candidates can now proceed to print their admission letter.

Candidates can also ACCEPT or REJECT admission through their portal by reaching out to Jamb accredited centre to login to their portal and ACCEPT or REJECT with biometric required.

However, candidates that their aspiring course will be changed will also reflect on their JAMB CAPS through TRANSFER APPROVAL, candidates who wish to accept it should click on accept while candidates who wish to reject should click on reject.

You should also note that the release of admission list is gradual process.It is important to note also that candidates who have been offered admission are to print their admission letter after accepting the admission. 

While candidates that their initial course was changed should apply for changing of course before printing their admission letter and are advised to reprint their original jamb result slip, as they will likely need this during clearance and registration in the school that they have been admitted.
