University of Ilorin, Kwara State — Jubilation swept through the University of Ilorin as Sanusi Akanbi Kazeem etched his name into history by successfully completing a record-breaking 30-hour math-a-thon, officially surpassing the Guinness World Record for the longest mathematics marathon.
The event, which drew widespread attention from students, staff, and members of the university community, ended in celebration as the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Management Services) led a spontaneous dance session alongside enthusiastic students and staff. The vibrant celebration reflected the pride and admiration felt across campus for Kazeem's extraordinary accomplishment.
In a heartfelt closing address, the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Sciences commended Kazeem’s perseverance, intellectual strength, and commitment to academic excellence. “This achievement is not only a personal victory for Mr. Kazeem but also a proud moment for the entire UNILORIN community,” the Dean remarked.
