The 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidates in Awka have debunked the popular notion that the JAMB exam is difficult to pass.
The examination, which began on Thursday, April 24th, and will end on Monday, May 5th, is being conducted in 887 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres across Nigeria, with over two million students participating to gain admission into universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.
Three candidates, Sella Maris Nwattah, Gloria Onuora, and Chukwujekwu Evans, who wrote their exams at centres in Awka, shared their experiences with newsmen.
They described the process as smooth and well-organised, from the accreditation stage to the actual examination.
“The exam was not as tough as people made it seem,” Gloria Onuora stated, encouraging future candidates not to be discouraged by rumours.
Chukwujekwu Evans added, “Everything went smoothly, and I’m hopeful for a good result.”
Across Nigeria, candidates have commended JAMB for the hitch-free conduct of the 2025 UTME, with centres in places like Abuja also reporting no technical issues.
