The Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH), a premier tertiary healthcare institution in Makurdi, is pleased to announce the commencement of admission into its various programs at the Institute of Health Technology for the 2025/2026 academic session.
As a renowned center for research and academic excellence, the Institute offers a range of courses designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to excel in the healthcare industry.
According to the Provost of the Institute, Terwase Ihyongo, PhD, admission forms are now available for the following programs:
- Postgraduate Diploma in Community Education (PGDCHE)
- Higher Diploma in Community Health (CHO)
- Health Information Technology (HIT)
- Biomedical Engineering Technician (BMET)
- Dental Surgery Technician (DST)
- Medical X-ray Technician (MXT)
The admission form fees range from ₦15,000 to ₦35,000. The sales of admission forms commenced on March 3, 2025, and will close on May 26, 2025.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an aptitude test and screening exercise, scheduled to take place on May 26 and 28, 2025, respectively. A fee of ₦10,000 is payable for each exercise.
The management of BSUTH has expressed gratitude to the Governor, His Excellency Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, and the Chief Medical Director, Dr. Terungwa Stephen Hwande, for facilitating the accreditation of all courses offered by the Institute.
